Writing Genesis 45
Good morning….
“And now do not be distressed or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life.”
genesis 45:5
“And God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on earth, and to keep alive for you many survivors. So it was not you who sent me here, but God. He has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.”
genesis 45:7-8
Joseph could see clearly why he had to go through all that he went through.
I have to admit that when I go through trials, sometimes my emotions get the best of me. It is a natural reaction to feel anger, frustration, and sadness toward others or a situation. From what we read in these chapters, instead of Joseph hanging on to those emotions, he hung on to God. He trusted God. He followed God. This is a great lesson for me.
