Writing Genesis 27
Good afternoon…
Some chapters give me a lot of mixed emotions, this chapter is one of them. Some things, I have to accept, that I won’t understand. Maybe it all comes down to the hearts. I am sure God knows things that I will never know. I will admit in this case that my ways are not God’s ways.
With that said, I will bring out part of verse 46:
“Then Rebekah said to Isaac, “I loathe my life because of the Hittite women.”
genesis:27:46
Maybe Rebekah allowed her hatred of Esau’s wives to make some drastic decisions. This is just an assumption in my mind. But it does help me to be careful that my opinion of others, doesn’t influence me to lie and cheat, or cause others to lie and cheat. I need to stay focused on good to keep my mind clear.
