Writing Genesis 24:1-33
Good morning..
I decided to do this long chapter in two days instead of trying to write it all in one day. I also didn’t get to my writing yesterday because of our schedule. But I am back at it today.
“And he said, “O Lord, God of my master Abraham, please grant me success today and show steadfast love to my master Abraham.”
genesis 24:12
This verse shows that not only did Abraham have faith but so did his servant. His servant had to have a lot of faith in God to go and to be led to the right woman for Isaac. After he spoke to her what did he do?
“The man bowed his head and worshiped the Lord and said, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of my master Abraham, who has not forsaken his steadfast love and his faithfulness toward my master. As for me, the Lord has led me in the way to the house of my master’s kinsmen.”
genesis 24:26-27
He worshiped the Lord. I can use this as an example, I need to look to the Lord before and after a blessing. So often I might do one or the other, I have to remember to do it always.
