Writing Genesis 12
Good morning..
“So Abram went, as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran.”
genesis 12:4
Lot went with him. As Abram’s nephew Lot went with Abram. It appears that Lot is the only family that went with Abram, besides Sarai his wife. The rest were servants. I imagine they were pretty close. Maybe he was like a son to Abram, since Terah took Lot with them when they moved to Haran after Lot’s father died. It is hard to say without more details.
In this chapter, we see where Lot made a good decision to go with Abram. Later on we will see if he continues to make good decisions or not.
We also see where Abram made good choices and then some bad choices in this chapter.
Every day, I have to make choices. Some that I make are good and some are not so good. But I have to keep going forward to the next choice. I hope the next choice will be the right one.
