Writing Proverbs 21

Good morning…

“It is better to live in a corner of the housetop
than in a house shared with a quarrelsome wife.”

Proverbs 21:9

“It is better to live in a desert land
than with a quarrelsome and fretful woman.”

Proverbs 21:19

Living with a quarrelsome and fretful woman is not fun. It doesn’t matter if it is your wife, mother, friend, relative, the list could go on. Since I am the woman of the house, I want to keep these proverbs close to my heart, and hope that I am neither quarrelsome or fretful. I do have to watch myself here and there. I try to apologize for my nagging when I notice it. And I try to apologize for coming off as ‘my way is the right way’ attitude. You know like when I would ‘load the dishwasher differently’. I have tried to take on a new idea of my way isn’t the only way attitude. But I know that is difficult at times. It is funny how we have to work on some things daily, and seem to always slip up. I find myself going back to what Paul said:

“For I do not do the good I want,
but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing.”

Hebrews 7:19

I am thankful that as a Christian I can continue to keep working on these things daily, because of Jesus. He came to this to give us salvation. In Him we have been given so much, love, forgiveness, hope, heaven, everlasting life.

God is so Good!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
