Writing Psalm 97, 98, 99, and 100
Good morning… As I was writing these chapters, I just knew I was going to bring up Psalm 100 because it is one of my favorites. But then I was finishing up 99 and a verse struck me.
“O Lord our God, you answered them;
Psalm 99:8
you were a forgiving God to them,
but an avenger of their wrongdoings.”
Wow… Yes, my God will forgive me, but He will also call me out when I am wrong. It is up to me to hear Him. I am thankful for His love and correction. I am thankful for His forgiveness, for without it I would be lost.
