Writing Psalm 46 and 47

Good morning….

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling.
Selah”

Psalm 46:1-3

I love these verses. It reminds me that God is my safe place. I don’t have to be afraid of the things that go on in this earth. My God still holds me. Even in the things that concern people:

“God reigns over the nations; God sits on his holy throne.
The princes of the people gather as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God; he is highly exalted!”

Psalm 45:8-9

God is in control, even of the government and politics. None of these things can take away my salvation. Whether there be an earthquake, or terrible people are governing over me. I am safe in His hands. What a comforting thought.

God is so Good!!

I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
