Writing Revelation 9
Good morning. As I write Revelation, I try to take notice of the things that will help me in my daily life.
The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands nor give up worshiping demons and idols of gold and silver and bronze and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk, not did they repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.
Revelation 9:20-21
As I am still on this earth, I am given an opportunity to repent and receive forgiveness for the sins I have committed and the sins I will commit. It is so easy, on this earth, to focus on the material things around me and to forget there is an afterlife. It is easy for me to try to make a perfect life on this earth and forget to focus on the perfect life I can have in eternity. No matter what I try to make on this earth, there will always be sin, death, illness, loneliness, brokenness that I have no control over. But with the Lord we can have perfectness. A future life with no sin, pain and suffering, He will wipe away all my tears.
