Writing Revelation 5
Good morning. As I was writing and reading this chapter, I cannot help but picture this scene before John. The enormity of it all. No wonder John was caught in such emotion, when they could not find someone to break the seal of the scroll, that was in the right hand of the Father, who sat on the throne. I love the comforting words of the elder to John as he was weeping,
“Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.”
Revelation 5:5
Then to watch the Lamb of God appear must have been such an awesome sight. I cannot imagine the overwhelming feelings John must have had. I cannot imagine the overwhelming feelings I will have one day.
I hope you take the time to slow down and envision what John seen.
