Writing Hebrews 12
Good morning. I started to write about me but after I rewrote this verse, you will will see where my mind went.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings to closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
Hebrews 12:1-2
Joy…. Let me take a closer look… Jesus, ‘who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross‘….. Jesus could see past the cross. He could see the other side, so going through the suffering was endurable. What was on the other side of the cross? On the other side of the cross is Jesus, on the right hand of the Father, and His followers, white as snow, with Him. He could see all of us being reunited with the Father. That brought him joy.
Wow!!
I sure hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
