Writing 1 Thessalonians 3
Good morning, I don’t think I can get through this chapter without talking more about how much Paul cared for those he taught the Gospel to.
“But now that Timothy has come to us from you, and has brought us the good news of your faith and love and reported that you always remember us kindly and long to see us, as we long to see you—for this reason, brothers, in all our distress and affliction we have been comforted about you through your faith.”
And as you can tell, the Thessalonians ‘longed to see’ them too.
I am not one who is truly in tune with my feelings and emotions, so it is something that I observe in others but have a hard time showing to others. Whether by personality or by learned behaviors, I think it has always made me take notice of those who are able to show more feeling and emotion. In some ways, I have been jealous of their ability and at other times, thankful I don’t have them. But in the instance of showing others love, I am jealous. I will have to just keep working on it. Will I ever conquer it? Time will tell.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day!!
